Before
BNP coming to power in 1991, there had been no controversy
about who is the declarer of independence of Bangladesh.
Even Ziaur Rahman the founder of BNP had never claimed
that he himself did the declaration rather he did it on
behalf of greatest national leader Bangabandhu Sheikh
Mujibur Rahman. In 1976 in an interview with "Shaptahik
Bichitra" Maj Zia told the reporter that he did broadcast
the messages after many other broadcasters. It is utter
ill fate of all Bangladeshi that BNP along with Jamat
Islami are trying to change the history by expunging the
name of Sheikh Mujib from the original speech made by
Zia. But history cannot be changed as it lingers everywhere
by honest person around the world. In this video you can
hear the original audio plus newspaper documents where
it explicitly says that Sheikh Mujib proclaimed the independence.
To who are obstinate they might say as Maj zia read the
message he is the declarer. But they are mixing the word
"declarer" with "reader". Major Zia
was a simple reader as M.A Hannan who was the first reader
of Sheikh Mujibs message of independence.
